Emotional Combat: Ratio V Motus

Third Person Action Adventure

Play as Logic. Combat Emotions. Escape the Mind you have been trapped in. 

In this game, you play as Logic. As Logic, you traverse the regions of emotions and fight them. Combating them. Killing them. All to escape.

As you progress, you fight emotions that become harder to defeat. Happiness is harder to fight then Anger. Optimism is harder to fight then Hate. Joy is harder to fight then Vengeance.

Regions – Creatures – Weapons

As of now three Regions exist with their corresponding creatures:

  1. Anger:
    • Chasing of Hate – Large in quantity. Represents the simple ability to hate something. Its easy to hate something and easy to forget it
    • Sprouts of Rage: Rage is more prominent and direct but still in the moment. It doesn’t stay long
    • Fixed Resentment: Resentment is focused and persistent. It directs its anger towards its target from afar
    • Pure Vengeance (Boss): Vengeance creates the hate, rage, and resentment. Its the purest form of Anger 
  2. Happiness
    • Leading Optimism. Optimism makes those who have it travel fast and forward. Its resistant to conflict
    • Sweet Relief: Releasing inner pressure, it is simple and objective. The same feeling regardless of the pressure
    • Piercing Gratitude: Fixed in place towards someone or something. Its grasp hovers around what its grateful for
    • Joy Together (Boss): Joy is shared amongst other feelings. Its there and not and stays until its defeated. It brings other feelings with it. Its the purest form of Happiness 
  3. Sadness:
    • Disappointed Spirit – Plain simple disappointing meshes
    • Shattered Alone – Simple Yet broken and strong
    • Unplaced Guilt – Guilt that has no were to go except towards you

Latest Patch Notes

Update OA.W8

Open Alpha Week 8 Update comes with 3 new swords (Anger, Sadness, and Happiness), bug patches, and a few other minor things

Bug Fixes – Gameplay & Runtime

  • Damage Tick would reset after leaving monster attack range
  • Damage Tick would not function when player stood still
  • Waves didn’t appear during runtime in sadness region

Region of Happiness – Visual Enhancement

  • Grass improved
  • Color balance
  • Fire flies added to give better ambiance

Swords – Swords

  • Sword of Anger: Red
  • Sword of Sadness: Dark Blue
  • Sword of Happiness: Bright Yellow
  • Swords of Emotions: Damage to opposite emotions
  • Uses extensive Mana
